I'm not sure 'critical taste' is defined as 'people who would vote for shows I would vote for.'

It's not like 'Avenue Q' is some sort of highly artistic beacon piercing through the commercial quagmire that is 'Wicked.'

In all fairness, Wicked did deserve Best Musical and Book (the two awards it was robbed of at the Tonys) Avenue Q should have at least won for it's whitty and cleverly written score.

I don't know why for some reason this doesn't surprise me. I was disappointed that assassins only got one mention, avenue q none... but I guess I'm just repeating whats already been said... Que Sera

lol Has it ever occured to you that someone might actually like WICKED? I couldn't possibly care less what you think about the show, but just don't insult my (or anyone else's) taste. How do you justify that comment about critical taste? How's this for critical taste: I write movie and Broadway show reviews for my high school newspaper. I see films, I go to Broadway, and I use my knowledge about these fields to write about them. I also study acting, singing, and, to some extent, dancing (and have been doing so all of my life). It's what I love to do, and it's what I want to do when I get older and graduate college.

As for AVENUE Q...

I have seen every show that was nominated for a major Tony (except for BFO, which I am seeing next week), and... yup. WICKED deserved Best Musical.

I don't mean to be rude. Actually, I am quite the opposite. I just hope you think about what you're saying next time.
