Posted: 1/5/06 at 3:21pmi am so excited...it's kinda funny...but i don't even know who Patrick Cassidy or Amy Adams are...not a big American Idol fan...even tho i must say that Frenchie Davis and Tamyra Gray were great in their Broadway shows...but i had no clue who they were before i saw them on stage.

Posted: 1/5/06 at 3:43pmIts' a fun production, though a bit cheesier-looking than the national tour that followed the Broadway revival about 10 years ago. Patrick Cassidy sings great and is in even better physical shape (he must spend every hour not on stage in the gym). It's a fun, light show and very enjoyable.

I did the show a few years back..one of the most fun times doing theater!
Enjoy!

I agree with all of the bove posts about Amy Adams... she was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE. In my opinion she was the only reason to see the show. I was personally unimpressed by Patrick Cassidy, and the show in general is really tacky. But Amy Adams gives a remarkable performance. They also had the CD's at the merchandise stand in West Palm Beach tonight. I am SO glad that her performance got preserved on CD. She was brilliant.
P.S. I could totally see her as Elphaba... she has a big big big great voice.

Posted: 1/6/06 at 1:13amalright...i guess is mandatory to say that any woman mentioned on here should play Elphaba!!! this is not a Wicked thread...stop!!! LOL...anyhow...i saw Amy and she was wonderful...she hit all the high notes...but she didn't go as high as Maria Friedman in the movie or Linzi Hateley on stage. The show overall was AMAZING!!! and i bought the cd with the touring cast...Patrick was great...Amy was great(perfectly cast)...and the ensemble was very talented...the dancers were outstanding!!! it was an awesome show...two thumbs up!!! the show was less than 2 hours long and it went by so fast...i had an amazing evening...excellent entertainment and a great message.

Muscle! I can't believe you. How do you not know who Patrick is?! I am 19 and I love him, and his step brother David! lol I'm totally kidding though cause I always tell my friends and they have no clue. I've seen Patrick in Aida as Radames (the best that I saw in the touring cast) and in 42nd street. I thought he was very good. Joseph is always a silly fun show, so hopefully it's good. I'm planning on seeing it too.
Oh and to Rentboy, it's the dvd with Donny Osmond, who's hair needed some major help.

Yeah I forgot about Joan Collins. I saw her at a convention a few years back. She was really cool, but boy does she cover up her face with pounds of makeup.
I go and see musicals with my mom all the time. We liked Les Mis so much that we saw it 5 times last year! and then I also saw it in London last year.
We are nerds a bit.
