This year for Christmas I am wondering if I should ask people for tickets to see Seminar. I am 14 years-old and I was wondering if it age appropriate. I am asking because if I ask I do not want it to be an awkward experience with my Aunt (who I would probably ask. I was just wondering other peoples opinion.
Thanks for the help!
Can you explain the nudity more. (Wow, that sounds weird). Is it like the nudity in Hair? The lights are dim and you can't really see it? Or is it like Oh Calcutta, while not being nude the whole show, it is visible. Because I know my family and I think it would be a bit awkward. Sorry if I am being annoying!
A female removes her shirt and exposes her bosoms for about a minute of the show. A different female also exposes her bare behind. They say the F bomb a lot (A LOT), talk about s*x, and use some other swears throughout the piece, if I recall. Definitely PG13 or R. Not anything I'd bring a 14-yr-old to, nor do I think a 14-yr-old would find it to be a very interesting play, though I enjoyed the play I am much more than 14. Updated On: 11/21/11 at 12:01 AM
You don't want to see this production of Private Lives. It was underwhelming to the extreme.
I liked Seminar. That said, I'm not sure you want to sit with your parents watching it.
I think Other Desert Cities is a better show and definitely a better choice for you.
Seminar was great, though not exactly relative to someone of your age, but like others have said, if you are uncomfortable with the fact that you'll be seeing nudity and hearing plenty of f bombs and the "p" word (for lack of a better phrase) thrown around frequently throughout the show with your family, I wouldn't recommend it.
What exactly is Sons of the Prophet? I do not really care about the cursing. IT is not like I have bot heard it before.
