Jesus you think Mamma Mia is serious
Caroline and Change is serious, Spring Awakening by Mayer is serious but Mamma Mia is the worst idea ever

Posted: 2/21/13 at 6:10amWell didn't you guys had the original production of The Boy from Oz with Hugh Jackman? And the revised premiere of Love Never Dies? To me those are both pretty amazing, specially the latter one.

Posted: 2/21/13 at 7:24amI would really love a musical that hits youth suicide on the head because it happens and no one is noticing it.

The answer to your question is Baz Luhrman.
Meanwhile, what happened to the musical versions of Gallipoli, Breaker Morant, Walkabout and Picnic at Hanging Rock?

Posted: 2/21/13 at 8:24amAt least you're getting internationally renowned productions. Here in Puerto Rico the only great musical we've had in the last decade is Cabaret which only lasted about three weeks. So don't go around complaining, Efie we all got pain.

LOL! you guys are hilarious. haha @ effie we all got pain and toilets flushing against the will of God. I can't deal...
But your idea for a musical show that explores teen suicide is an interesting one and would be appropriate. Maybe someone will do a contemporary musical about that one day soon.
