Seven Brides for Seven Brothers TV Show??

I just recently read there was a TV musical show based on Seven Brides in the early 80s--and Jimmy Webb of all people did the songs. I'm a big Webb fan but I'm sure this was beyond cheasy--still does anyone remember/know anything more?

And don't forget a similar show called, "Here Come The Brides" from the 1970's with Bobby Sherman and David Soul (Hutch) and Joan Blondell. Clips can be found online.
