Yes. The non-equity tour is the only touring production now, I believe. I saw the show last night and it was AMAZING! (I reviewed it in another post). I'm actually going back one more time tonight for the final show. Great cast. Great energy. Great time.
Well....looks like if Buffalo fans want to see JERSEY BOYS, they'll have to head 90 minutes East down the thruway to Rochester!
So much for the "proximity to Toronto" argument.
The show ends in Toronto in October, then circles back around Buffalo with stops in Pittsburgh, Hartford, and Rochester January - March.
That was our chance.

That's not right. How can a smaller city like Rochester get such a hot, huge show like JERSEY BOYS over Buffalo? Not fair.

I just auditioned for Shakespeare in the Park. I'm hoping to be cast in Merry Wives of Windsor. They've already cast three of the leads with local actors; Saul Elkin as Lear, his daughter Rebecca as Cordelia, and Norm Sham as Falstaff. I was in Othello last year and they hired an actor from NYC. I'm glad when they cast local talent; I wasn't impressed with the actor playing Othello. He was such a nice guy, enjoyable to work with, but I felt he superficially exaggerated the role and there wasn't much substance.

Good Luck!
I was planning on auditioning, but you had to be a high school graduate. Oh well.
