I didn't know about this until this post - in fact I didn't even know who the initials "LBB" referred to until I looked up "Shocalntelle Brown" and saw that you meant Laura Bell Bundy.
I think it's less about selective memory / people refusing to talk about it, and more to do with the fact that Laura Bell Bundy is not a relevant as she used to be. These sketches seem to have been filmed 10 years ago, and unlike Randy Rainbow, Laura Bell Bundy doesn't seem to be as much of an ever-present figure in the industry.
Now, sometimes in the past, I've made statements like this without realizing that so-and-so-actor was actually playing the lead in some big TV show on its 3rd season. So if I'm wrong, and it turns out LBB is actually still very much a relevant figure with a thriving career, and a large vocal platform, then forgive me. But based on a brief Google search, it doesn't seem like she's had any major projects in the spotlight for a while.
I had totally forgotten about this (but it was deep in the recesses of my brain folds at some point). The Cardi/okurrr thing is something I hadn't realized either.

And in Lizzie's link about Cardi B there is a link back to a thread here on Broadway World discussing Laura Bell Bundy's videos.

(Sorry the link isn't clickable, but all the fancy formatting option buttons seemed to have disappeared from my postings/replies, and I don't remember the html tags to make it clickable)
If you’re on your phone, you need to hit the preview button before you write anything and the panel loads.
