Shoshana to begin workshops for Piece: The Musical

Shoshana posted a new journal on her website, stating that she would be beginning workshops for Scott Alan's new musical, Piece. So, if this gets to go to Broadway, I guess we all know where Shoshana will be after January!

That's what I thought. I thought she wanted to focus more on her album. Oh well....I am looking forward to seeing her in this!

I know, but it would still be good to see her in this. 'Home' is such a beautiful song. If you haven't heard it, go to www.scottalan.net and click on Piece. It's wonderful and Shoshana does an amazing job on it.

oh im really excited now! i had heard demos from this on the piece website a few months ago, but i didnt think they were doing anything with it! im excited b/c the story seemed really good

Meagan, you amuse me... with as much trashtalking that you do you are now interested in seeing Shoshana in this? I really don't think Steph is involved in the workshop being that she's with the tour until March.

I love Piece and I love Shoshana's version of "Home", but I'm not so much a fan of how she sounds on "Never Never Land" (with the 4 girls). Hopefully she'll do good things with the role during the workshop, but I'm a bit nervous for it.

I would assume Shoshana would be playing the role of Katherine-26 and Stephanie would play the role of Katherine-35 just going by their actual real life ages.

I don't like the new Never Never Land at all. The rhythm is weird and I don't like the four parts. Maybe I'm just used to Stephanie's amzing version....

I actually am more partial to the original (well, in the first reading I should say) version of Never Never Land as a trio - I hope it's still available in that form one day once sheet music is FINALLY available! (I'm so impatient for it, lol)

I do like STephanie's version, and I don't hate the newer quartet arrangement, but there was just something about the trio arrangment and harmonies and hte way it flowed, it just gave you goosebumps and made you almost speechless...I miss it

Glad to hear Sho is working on this though - who else? (Have they announced a cast list yet?)
