Actors are such woosies these days. Back in the day, Mary Martin was flying as Peter Pan and smacked into a wall breaking her arm. She unhitched her harness, marched right over to the theater where she was playing Maria in "The Sound of Music" and said "Tape me up boys, I'm going on."
Mary knew the truth. If she hadn't gone on, before she could say "Lenora Nemetz", she would have been "Shirley MacLained".

"oh good lord, i wish people would think before they start such a stupid thread."
I, on the other hand, wish that there were other people who could see the progression of threads on this very board, put that awareness together with ideas and themes topical in today's news, and realize how funny the original post was - while still providing its own sort of commentary, or even chance for discussion.
Instead, we get . . . well, posters like you.

Joke? What joke?
The reception to this thread did dissuade me from creating a thread calling for Wicked to shut down and ticket holders forced to attend better, money-losing shows instead.

It's the main board.
You have to post with the utmost honesty, wide-eyed innocence, and not a lot of big words.
Just pretend you're speaking to a Mormon.

The problem is "the Spiderman on crutches" costume wouldn't be possible. I hear tell they haven't agreed on what his costume looks like yet. Seems there are problems with the final design. *
*edited to add, I know Spiderman's costume is iconic but Taymor hasn't finished peeing on it yet.
