I'm hoping it'll get fixed by the time I see it, but Lestat has a pretty great cast. Hugh, Carollee...I'm really pulling for this show.
Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby (the recent tour at msg, even though technically not on Broadway) was terrible in all aspects.

Eden and Ramona..I really felt bad for them
and the poor pit singers! Mano!
Another vote for LENNON and adding HIGH SOCIETY and THE LIFE.

Definitely BKLYN. Eden, Ramona, Manoel, Cleavant. All amazing performers, having performed it on multiple occasions, yet stuck in ****
Two other famous flops with great casts:
Wind in the Willows
Merlin
Another vote for Thou shalt Not. Absolutely the worst show I have ever seen. But it had a great cast and talent behind the show.

i think Jekyll and Hyde is a show more peeople attended because of the quality of the casts and the fine execution of the material rather than for the show itself. it wasn't a great show....the broadway version was sooo poorly directed by Robin Phillips. the tour was SOOOO much better directed by David Warren..WONDERFUL David Warren!
-Sweeney
-Dracula
-BKLYN
Not to stir up anything....but "The Dance of the Vampires" had a pretty incredible ensemble.

The Rink I thought it could of been better.

Lennon is a prime example, so is Boy From Oz.
I actually love the cast recording, but alas the Sweet Smell of Success should have been drastically improved. Talk about a stellar cast.
The 3 performance only flop musical Soon from 1971 had a stellar cast that included:
--Peter Allen (who the Boy from Oz is based on)
--Nell Carter
--Barry Bostwick
--Richard Gere

I think See What I Wanna See was a good show with an amazing cast, and most reviews said the show was bad but the cast was phenomenal.

Legs Diamond (Peter Allen, Julie Wilson)
Grind (Ben Vereen)
The Rink Liza Minnelli, Chita Rivera)
Thou Shalt Not- Amazing Cast (even a stellar ensemble), terrible show
Someone actually said SWEENEY TODD?
WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
To those who saw it, what made Fascinating Rhythm a flop? I always see all those fabulous "up-and-comers" in the cast and I just have to wonder why it didn't succeed. Bad concept? Bad orchestrations? Just plain bad? Inquiring minds want to know.
