Everything Andrew Lloyd Webber except Phantom.

God, almost all of my beloved shows are on the "hate to love"/"ashamed to love" list. Aida, Chess, Rent, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar...

I lack taste, okay?

I hate to love(but sort of stand by my love for):

Ring of Fire
"I Want More" (the only redeeming value to Lestat
Wicked (in moderation)

I Love to Hate:

The Wedding Singer
Tarzan
The rest of Lestat
Les Miz (I'll see the limited revival, give it another chance)
Into the Woods (the reason I started hating Sondheim, thank God for Sweeney!)


I don't know, I feel like this thread doesn't apply to me, if I love a show, then hating to love it means I would be ashamed of that which I really am not...

I'm done with Wicked, so it will kind of have to be on both lists.

Love to:
ALW.
Jersey Boys.
The Wedding Singer.
ANY jukebox musical even though I haven't seen any. Because they are unoriginal.
Wicked.
Mamma Mia
Anyone who says "This -enter tourist trap musical here, such as BATB or Mamma Mia or TWS or Wicked- musical was amazing!"

The King and I (the most delightful song, and I grew up listening to R&B, rock, etc., is "Shall We Dance).
