The Boy From Oz is hardly my favorite show but its perfect for the car. Its so peppy and a lot is up-tempo, and in general its just fun.
Listen to "She Loves to Hear the Music" and especially "Bi-Coastal" while driving on the freeway and you're set.
And of course Piazza, just cause i love it. Oh, and Into the Woods. Ok, I'm done.

When I'm driving to school, I normally put on a longer show, and just sing the entire way. The past few times I've driven, I've played Rent, Les Miserables, Dreamgirls (movie), and Bare.
My favorite songs, like everyone else have said, are the upbeat ones and ones you can sing too.
I just recently got into Spring Awakening, and I can not wait to be blasting Totally F*cked. lol :)
One song I can't listen/have to skip: Today for You from Rent. I got into my first accident while that song was blasting, and whenever it comes on while I'm in the car, I need to skip it.

I'm a car-belter, so Dreamgirls is always good. Jersey Boys isn't necessarily one of my favorite shows, but it's pretty fun for the car.
It seems that jukebox musicals are considered to be good for the car for some reason.
