Shubert Box Office Question

I have to pick up my Hello Dolly tickets at the will call window the same day as show. Probably won't be able to pick up until almost curtain. Does anyone know if there is a separate line for Will Call or do you have to get into the crazy main line?

Thanks. :)

seperate line

it's nuts but if you get there closer to curtain it might be easier because the lines will be less. the will call line is closest to the building.

seperate line

Other than the Broadway, I don't know of any other theater that requires queuing in the main line for box office pick-up. Although some may make you go back out into the main line after picking up your tickets.

I think I might go your route 802AFM

Fosse76. I am coming across it more and more. At the Jacobs for Iceman and Bandstand security made me go to the back of the line. I told hime I was picking up tickets. Same response. "Back of the line" Maybe I have become spoiled but for many and I mean many years I have always used Will Call to avoid the lines and get right in. It finally has caught up with me. :)

I've never been told to go to the general entry line to pick up tickets.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I've found the box office staff at the Shubert to be very genial. They've never asked me to go to the end of the line. In fact, They've cordially gestured for me to go right in.

But you are Dolly. They better more than cordially invite you in. :) I'll just walk right up and see what happens. This is what happens when house seats pop up. Not a thought about getting there and such. Just had to go back.

check your receipt

you should make sure your ticket doesn't specify you must pick it up earlier than 30 minutes before curtain. some special tix like house seats or standing room seats can require that

If I recall correctly, seeing Bernadette in January I did have to wait in line to get to Will Call, so I made sure and picked up my tickets in advance when I went again in June.

Being at the Shubert yesterday, people were able to just go in to Will Call and pick up their tickets, but then had to go back outside to the main line in order to get into the theatre proper.

Seems about 50/50 on Will-Call. I'll report back Wednesday what happens.

Thanks everyone.
