Interesting how some topics dig up long forgotten memories so skip or read on-.
Many years ago I worked promotions with a female-both doing exactly the same thing[she was actually better than me] but somehow she found out my salary, which was more than hers-I had no idea what she was paid. She was furious, I was sympathetic, we both went to management and they increased her salary to match mine. We were a fabulous team and everyone was happy.
It's all about standing up for what you feel is right-we must fight our own battles or hopefully have supportive friends in the fight with us.
Thanks for reminding me of a long ago friend and the fun we had.

Now that she's been left on the cutting room floor by Scott Cooper, I wonder if she wishes she had reconsidered the play. Or, at the very least, carping about her mistreatment.

I don't like to overuse LOL-- but I literally burst into a hearty chortle at that. Particularly well-timed in the stagnant thread. Anyway, someone asked me recently what the biggest Broadway payday for an actor (not including profit share) has been? I said Tom Hanks, but I don't know if I was correct. Does anyone have an update on that? If we include profit share, then Michael Crawford handily wins, but I just mean salary. Thanks.

Now we know what Miller was offered.

Why does that article say it's opening at the Belasco in Los Angeles? Proofreading, anyone?

Just to be clear, there's no corroboration this is the play she was talking about, right?
