Signature always has a great season, I'm curious how much Fiddler will actually be reimagined, but I'd consider making a trip for Pippin just because I've never seen it. I wonder if Safety Not Guaranteed has made changes since its run at BAM but if anything I think a smaller space would help them
DC was treated to a pretty spectacular production of Fiddler about a decade ago at Arena Stage. Signature does pretty consistently good work, so I'm excited for this newly announced season. I'm not familiar with all of the shows, but I'm intrigued after reading about them.
Pippin is also an all time favorite of mine that I'll never pass up the opportunity to see it.
I know some folks are Sondheim-ed out, but I'm not one of those folks, so I'm disappointed that he's not represented this year. :(
This Author I'm trying to do the trip I hoped to do last year - go to DC for first time to see as many of the museums as possible over 5 Daye, then train to NYC for days. Unless something else more enticing has a Sunday evening show, I'll likely see this Fiddler.
