And here's a feature Playbill came up with on Broadway songwriters picking their favorite Sondheim song. Enjoy!

Happy birthday to a great man who has been an intimate part of my psyche for 40 years.
A very, very happy birthday to Mr. Sondheim!
And now the impossible question - what's your favorite song that this man has given us?
I vote for The Ladies Who Lunch.
I'm Still Here. Didn't need to think too long about that one, although there are many I love other than that one.
Move On.
Happy 80th, Mr S.
We are unworthy of your love!
Happy birthday, Stephen Sondheim!!!
The Miller's Son; fantastic (:
Happy Birthday you absolute magician (:
Love always (:
No way can I choose a favorite!
I like what PJ said. Mr. Sondheim's work has moved and excited me for most of my life.
Happy birthday!
It's kind of insulting to Sondheim that BWW has added Andrew Lloyd Webber to the birthday graphic.
My favorite song is No One is Alone.
Happy birthday to the greatest! I can't choose between Marry Me a Little and Losing My Mind.
Too Many Favorites
Blow out yer candles Stevie....
Another Hundred People
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday! Thank you so much for songs that always make me think and even sometimes make me hum!
Finishing the Hat
Definitely a happy birthday to Mr. Sondheim!
I couldn't possibly pick a favorite, but I can pick my favorite song of his that not many other people seem to love. For me that would be "Chrysanthemum Tea".
I always have a new one! But the two constants would probably be the entire score to Passion and Someone in a Tree.
Happy 80th, Steve!
Happy Birthday and God Bless Stephen!
Happy birthday and thanks for the tunes!
Happy birthday to a man whose art has changed the lives of almost everyone who has ever encountered it.
Big Happy Birthday and thank you.
Gotta go with Finishing the Hat, Move On, or Being Alive. I narrowed it to 3, isn't that enough?
Happy Birthday, Mr. Sondheim. He is a true lyrical genius. My favorite Sondheim song is No One Is Alone. It's one of his more simple songs, but the lyrics and the melody get me every time and ring so true.
I second 'Another Hundred People'
And the whole of Pacific Overtures
Happy birthday sir! I have a present just for you - a comb!
:^)
