The only song I would cut from any show is "I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today" from Ave. Q... totally pointless and needlessly obscene if you've ever seen the show.
As far as "Sentimental Man" goes... I saw the show in previews before the reprise to that song was there and then I saw it again when it was in its run and it was 20 times more powerful. It's a wonderful piece that truly helps an audience member be more apathetic to the Wizard, and really feel for someone other than Elphaba... makes for a more complete plot line.

I wouldn't call "I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today" needlessly obscene... It's more of a too much information statement of fact...

"Liaisons - A Little Night Music (yes, I am aware I will be killed for that)"
You're damn right you will. Liasons is one of the numerous highlights of A Little Night Music. It is a beautiful song, and is amazing when done well. Hermione Gingold sings it with such passion on the OBC. Each verse gets a little softer, a little more dreamy, until she drifts into peaceful slumber. Not to mention that it features the brilliant line "No-not even figs. RAAAAAAAAISINS! Liasons..."
Priest, would you like to pipe in here?

I love Liasons, from the opening notes to her final "Lias...mmmmmmmmm...." Brilliant.
I would probably cut "Gordo's Law of Genetics" from A New Brain.

The only good thing about "Something Bad" is hearing Idina going "something bad..."

I'm still confused as to why you chose to have your name feature AveQ, when you obviously can't stand the show. I certainly wouldn't like it if, every time I logged on, I was reminded of the show I hate.

Id only cut "Something Bad" from the cd. In the show its very important to the story. But yeah, I know what ur saying. But it isnt that long so its not so bad.
Also about Goodnight My Someone...did you know that song has the exact same melody as 76 Trombones from the same show?? Its just much slower. Listen to them both
76 Trombones led the big parade
Goodnight my someone, goodnight my love.
Just listen to it, ull see

sentimental man did come across as kind apointless when listening to the cast recording. but yeah, it definitely fits in perfect in the show and i actually found myself enjoying the reprise more... its building up tension if i remember correctly...

You know, sometimes Rodgers and Hammerstein just went on a bender! Let's please give the ax to
"The Other Generation" and "Chop Suey" from Flower Drum Song
"A Puzzlement" from The King & I
"A Real Nice Clambake" from Carousel
