See Poppins
Don't do a play from rear mezz!
Phantom will here next decade or so
You've seen ACL
You don't want to see Xanadu.
But do see August when you can get a decent seat.
Poppins is wonderful -a school friend of mine directed it and if its cold there it'll warm you up!

Yeah I have seen Phantom on numerous snowdays in the past.
You guys are startin to convince me with "Is He Dead"....or maybe Poppins. Those are both shows I'll probably never find anybody to go with, so it'll be good to go today by myself.

FWIW, I had a rear mezz ticket for August and it was fine. Especially with that set.

hmmm well I have really been dying to see August. And the other night I finally convinced a friend to go with me, until I said it ran for 3 hours and then he said no way. Nobody wants to see plays!
Ok so I'm thinking either August, Is he Dead or Phantom. Ok ok ok I wont see Phantom but darn it I like my comfort food all right I still want it on the list : )

Wickedboy2, I'm going to assume you're serious since your profile says youre in the UK and maybe you have a different word for it.
A snow day is a day off from school because of really bad weather. It snow here a little yesterday and now it is pouring rain. Back in Chicago, we only had snow days if like 2 feet of snow fell. But here on the East Coast, they have snow days ALL the time. We have like 5 snow days built into our schedule. A lot of it is because our kids will have so much trouble getting to school on the buses.

Sadly though, if you're in the city, there's no such creature.
No snow day for me.

I want a snow day! We didn't get "the call" this morning.
I can't tell you how grumpy my coworkers will be...most people don't realize that teachers want a snow day just as much, if not more, than the kids!

We have a delay...hoping to receive the official "aah we've changed our minds...you have off today!" call... And I agree...Xanadu or Is He Dead would be good choices...

I miss a good old snow day. I moved from Michigan so I've had my fair share of snow days. But now that I am no longer in school, work has no snow days, unless you call in. Have fun seeing your show.
