So people are not talking about the show anymore on SLIH’s normal thread, so we now have to drum up nonsensical attention here about the “A-Listers” going to the opening? Mariah isn’t going and therefore no one cares.

The amount of attention and money that goes into planning these big opening nights is staggering.
With all the permits, security, red carpet, and all the other logistics, do you think they are worth it?
I must admit, Neil Diamond's opening night a few days ago was everywhere. The footage of him singing did the show more good than any of the reviews.

that's complete BS. I thought the show was fantastic and loved every minute of it and I am glad to be going back on opening night.
what is wrong with these nasty negative people who just make up lies and put them on this message board? All your lives so pathetic that's all you have to do?
You don't have to like a show, but you didn't dismiss the work of all the creators and performers is ridiculous and vicious. I just ran into somebody the other day who also thought the show was exceptionally good.

I run into people constantly whenever I'm in the city but I never talk to them. I just say sorry.
