The Playbill site lists the show with no advisory. In the past, they've used "mature" to indicate a show that contains nudity and/or adult subject matter that wasn't appropriate for children.
Is there nudity in the show? I can't image this show would be appropriate for children with or without nudity based on some of the bathhouse pictures I've seen.

I'm a little disappointed. Apparently it's only playing through April 15. I thought I might see it while I'm there in May. I'm planning to see Grey Gardens, and was hoping to see Georgia Engel in Drowsy Chaperone, but since she's leaving, I'll just see the show with Joanne Worley.
Maybe a friend of mine in NYC will have an idea and we'll see something else. Oh, well. That's life!
There is nudity, but you don't see much. In the bathhouse scene, two guys drop a towel but immediately embrace, so their groins hide one another.
How odd that Playbill doesn't list anythng, because right on the 2econd Stage website is one of my favorite warnings:
Warning: SOME MEN contains nudity, adult situations and smoking.
just because the fact that they put in 'and smoking' makes me giggle for some reason.
^That's pretty funny to me as well, but maybe they put it for those who have breathing problems?
Oh yeah I'm sure there's probably a reason they have to list it, but it just still makes me giggle since it just sounds funny...like those horror movies that come out where they're all "rated R for terror, prolonged sequences of violence, strong gruesome violence, horror violence, stylized violence, grizzly violence and gore, and language," the 'and language' part always makes me giggle too.

When I saw the show in previews, there was more than just that scene mentioned above...but they might have changed it. There were two scenes with blatent nudity. But it made sense...it wasn't gratutitous.
"their groins hide one another"
Please describe that better.
It's Kelly AuCoin and Romain Fruge who are nude. They are standing in profile, so you get a side view. They, as mentioned, they embrace, and it's over.
That's it. Less than two minutes of nudity.

I read there was much more nudity in the show while it was in previews, and that several instances of it have been removed.
Just wanted to say that I saw the final performance of SOME MEN this afternoon and loved it. The acting was excellent and the majority of the scenes worked well (in my opinion). It made me laugh and I also got emotional during a couple of scenes. My friend who I went with also loved it and we had A LOT to discuss after the show, especially since we were viewing the show from two different perspectives. Terrance McNally came out on stage at the curtain call and hugged each of the actors. The audience was very enthusiastic as well. I'm really glad I got to see this show before it closed.
Why did they only do a limited run ?
"Why did they only do a limited run ?"
They wanted to close before you could get a chance to see it.
Cause Second Stage is a subscriber theatre. All their runs are limited runs.
