Some uk tours to look out for in 2009

I live in the South of England and from time to time I get sent the brochure for the Mayflower theatre in Southampton the Anvil in Basingstoke and the New Victoria theatre in Woking. Today I got sent the brochure for the New Victoria theatre in Woking and it has lots of show coming in 2009. Some of the show listed for the first half for 2009 are
Vagina Monologues
Fame
Calendar Girls
High School Musical
Boeing Boeing
Buddy
West Side Story
Little Shop Of Horrors
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
All of the shows are on tour around the UK next year and some might already be on tour now. Some of the the shows have quite a good cast. So if you are a fan of touring theatre shows enjoy.
I will be going to see Boeing Boeing and Little Shop of Horrors from that list of shows.

Footloose is also on tour and to confirm dates for after Christmas and Saturday Night Fever, Singing in the Rain are touring in 2009.
Seen footloose on Monday and it was amazing.

I think one of th ebest things about 2008 has been the quality and choice of the national tours.

I'm looking forwrd to LSoH and Boeing Boeing both of which I missed in the West End.

Its early days but yes, the producers are very keen- especially now as they have Ria Jones in their clutches. This certainly wont happen until at least early 2010 as there are advanced plans for 'Witches' to fly a bit longer than next May. SORRY! cant say anymore for now.

...and then there's....oops!....sorry!... cant say!

Sound of Music will tour too, starting in July.
