Because the reason that he is on is to discuss "Harry Potter", obviously, on the day that the new movie opens-
They have been taking questions on the street from people, most of them very young, and I sincerely doubt that the majority of them have any clue about "Equus"-

Wow.... what is this...nasty night? Geez--- First of all, I dont read the off-topic boards---
I simply posted my opinion about the movie (basically as a sidenote) --- I didnt need to read Sondheim's feelings and/or opinions about it.
And, a better reply would have been "I didnt care for it", or
"I thought it was horrible"... whatever... instead of "says who?"
Anyway... have a great evening !!! I think we all need to watch the "Xanadu" video !!

Oh, I agree, Emcee... I only watched it to hear about "Equus"--
I wanted to see if King would ask him about it coming here...
I was just surpised that being that the focus was on "HP", and not really on Daniel, the actor, that King brought it up at all. I kept imagining 100,000 kids saying "huh?" all at once.

He's not gonna age well. No he's not.
You'd be surprised how many kids know about Equus.Well sure, they don't know what it's about, they don't know he's naked or whatever, but they do know he's in it. Lots and lots and lots of them know. You do not get in the way of them and their Harry Potter. Don't even try. That's so muggle. Don't be muggle. Not cool. Be wizard. Very cool.

He's a really great interviwee.
He's very on and knows what points to hit and is very interesting to watch.
He's a great speaker, he seems to always know how to say something. And when he was on Regis and Kelly, he was hilarious.
I love his accent!
