Sondheim Hook-Ups

I was thinking that over the years there have been a number of significant relationships that started from cast members meeting in the original producitons of Sondheim shows.
COMPANY - Charles Kimbrough and Beth Howland
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC - Vicoria Mallory and Mark Lambert
INTO THE WOODS - Kim Crosby and Robert Westenberg.
Are there any others? How many children have been born because of Sondheim show? How amazing would it be say " Oh yeah, my Mom and Dad meeting while doing a Sondheim show on Brodaway"!

Hearn and Betsy Joslyn were married durring their run on Sweeney (and the tour), but I don't know if they were already married beforehand or not.
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

Posted: 9/22/06 at 2:55pmThey're not stars, but when I did Forum, the guy playing Hero proposed to the girl playing Philia at our pick-up rehearsal (during the scene at the end where he actually asks her to marry him). Very sweet, although I'm pretty sure they had been dating for a while before rehearsals began.

I should have saved this post for Valentines Day!
I forgot about Hearn and Joslyn. Are they still married?
Folkyboy.. .that is a sweet idea. I see it as a coffee table book with pictures of successful couples who meet in Broadway shows...

I didn't know about George and Betsy. I knew that he and one of the female "La Cagelles" got married.
Looking at the dates of the divorces and marriages, George certainly doesn't let the grass grow under his feet!

Ramona, that's either very cool, or you're a terrible "sock puppet" and should be ashamed.
I vote for very cool!

George Coe, who played David in the original production of Company, and Donna McKechnie developed a relationship that I believe did not start many years later after they met again at one of the anniversary concerts of Company, they eventually broke up though. She talks about him in her autobiography.
Whatever happened to Victoria Mallory and Mark Lambert? They are my favorite part of the A Little Night Music OBCR, and I specially enjoy Mallory's renditions of other Sondheim songs in a couple of benefit recordings where she makes an appearance.
