Anyone doing anything fun to celebrate? I usually make a playlist I listen to all day. Maybe watch a Sondheim movie or something.

But we're still celebrating his 80th!
I ordered the recent London revival of Into the Woods from Digital Theater. Plan to watch it when it's finally finished loading!
Happy Birthday Mr. Sondheim. Thank you for your glorious music, witty lyrics and wonderful shows. Just thank you for existing!
It always amuses me that he shares his birthday with ALW. I wonder if they send each other "it's OUR birthday, aren't we awesome?" cards. Hallmark actually makes them - I know because my mother-in-law gives them to me for my, erm, OUR birthday.
It always amuses me that every year, Sondheim's birthday gets talked about and Andrew Lloyd Webber's does not.

To celebrate Mr.Sondheim's and ALW's birthday I rewatch their "Dueling Piano's" over and over again. I love them SO MUCH! Just had to put that out there.
..and next year at this very date he'll be 83. BIG WHOOP!
Happy birthday, Mr. S.

So, I take it your friends have given up on wishing you happy birthday?
And many, many, many more!
