I have had an earworm for the last few days of what I believe is a musical show tune. I cannot remember the tune. All I can remember is there’s music, there’s a quick interruption of “DAMN IT!” and the song continues.
Oh gosh. It totally could be. Yet I’m not 100% sure. I’ve listened to Jan Maxwell’s version countless times. I’d be interested if any other suggestions come in. Thank you!!!
Sadly, no - only because I’m not familiar with that musical at all. I was really hopeful just now that it was Patti LuPone’s Smile, Girls - but I just listened and it isn’t punchy enough like it is in my memory.
