Totally agree. For whatever reason, I thought it was going to be released once the broadcast finished. It could be a contractual issue.

Does anyone know where you can still find the studio recordings of Legend's Gethsemane? Wondering if they've hid them to try to make it seem like the live performance was intended to be the way it was.

I'm late to the party on this one, but I watched the production over the weekend. I didn't buy the recording yet, and am trying to decide whether to do so since I can watch the production for free any time with DVR. I'm especially interested in whether ALL the tracks--the Pilate tracks in particular--were recorded in the studio. It would deter me from buying the album if I knew that the vocal blowout after the flogging scene was in it. Thank you!

The full soundtrack release features the entire audio tracks from the live telecast. It is not a studio recording. All missed lyrics and mistakes that occurred during the live telecast are intact on the soundtrack release.

Luminous - any of the pre-recorded tracks seem to have magically disappeared... I've been searching for the studio of Gethesemane after the live version (which was obvious to any real JCS fan not to be a highlight, but the spin of NBC seems to have made it out like it was) and can't find it anywhere
