The Light Princess has a stunning song called "Darkest Hour," in which the protagonist decides to commit, and then proceeds to attempt, suicide. This follows the show's standout, "No H2O," where it is revealed her father has subjected her to torture as a means of forcing her to marry against her will. I recommend giving them both a listen.

This isn't a musical anyone knows, but there was an original show about teen suicide in my area, and a cast album was made (only seven songs have been released currently), but track seven, "Invisible Girl", is the song right before she dies. "There's a World" - Next To Normal

You know, ma'am, ? there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. ,If there was a monster or an ogre or anything bad like that wot was after you, I'd rip it apart with my bare fists, I would. - Sweeney Todd

"Like It Here" from The Hinterlands (follow link for a performance of the song):

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
