I was there last night as well and this was my very first exposure to Porgy and Bess. Heard about it about it, but was not familar with the music. I am a bit confused about the ending compared to the orginal. For the most part I enjoyed the perforement and my favorite was when Bess confronts the southern woman as country b**tches. Made my night.

When I was in the 4th grade my teacher used to set up field trips to watch shows. I remember watching a musical version of Hansel and Gretal and a college production of the King and I. I pre-ordered this CD on Amazon and have been counting the days til its release. I went to Strawberries in Boston and I was looking at CDs and to my surprise they had Grey Gardens. I immediately picked it up and cancelled my Amazon order. Has anyone else manage to get an early copy of this awesome CD.
