Good one. Especially since that's from the LIAISON'S musical in Smash, and Les Laisons Dangereueses (the novel) is all letters (or as we say in lit. an epistolary novel).

"Til Then" from 1776 is one of the most beautiful heartfelt songs ever with John and Abigail Adams' letters to each other making up the entire lyrics. The fact that the lyrics were taken from the actual real letters John and Abigail wrote to each other makes them even more special.
(I know this song was mentioned earlier in the thread but it was worth a special mention IMO.)
