Defying Gravity! It's such an inspirational and powerful song, but I catch crap for singing it so much, cuz I'm a guy.
Shadowland! Also, an incredible song, but I'd need to be black as well.

Hey flirt,
I think you are referring to "Could I leave You?" from Follies. It is sung by a late-middle ager.

Posted: 9/11/05 at 2:58am"Memory" although, don't you think this could be sung by a guy? Its not gender specific at all, except that is a rather famous song. Also, "Movie in my Mind" and "The Light in the Piazza" and of course "Defying Gravity" and "Wizard and I."

Posted: 9/11/05 at 4:49amI can't believe I forgot to mention "Out Tonight." The many karaoke patrons who've witnessed my drunken rendition would be upset if they knew I forgot it.

I was surprised it took so long for someone to mention "Maria" -- thank you, wherethehorizonlies! I'd cut off parts of my anatomy to sing:
West Side Story - Maria, Jet Song
Les Miserables - any of Javert's songs/parts
Chess - Anthem, Pity the Child, Where I Want to be
The Frogs - Ariadne
Bat Boy - Let Me Walk Among You, Apology to a Cow, I Imagine You're Upset, Children, Children, and the doctor's part of Comfort and Joy...not that I'm obsessed or anything
Pippin - Corner of the Sky
Assassins - all of the Balladeer's parts
Closer Than Ever - What Am I Doin'
Not that I've thought about this....!
If we touch,
Warning's fair:
I don't care
Very much
