re: Songs that make you fall asleep (in a good way)

When I'm riding in the car, listening to my Phantom CD, which is usually, and it's been a long day, Music of the Night always puts me to sleep...

Then I'm awoken by Carlotta's Italian shreiking...

Also, Sarah Brightman's Dust in the Wind. I just feel like I'm in a good center of gravity when I hear it.

This is really weird..."The Meek Shall Inherit" from LSOH (the revival anyway). I guess Hunter's voice is soothing enough to put me to sleep.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Music of the Night and Point of No Return from The Phantom of the Opera. Those are my two favorites, but they make me sleepy for some reason.
A most ingenious paradox.

I often fall asleep listening to the second act of Les Miserables. I find it very comforting... *falls asleep doing hw*

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Try to Remember" (Of course the late Jerry Orbach's masterful rendition of it!) Always puts me right to sleep..in a good way:)

Lately I've been singing "Ariadne" from The Frogs or "Look Over There" from La Cage in my head as I fall asleep. I don't like listening to music as I lie in bed, but sometimes just singing to myself can really soothe me, especially if I'm feeling stressed or depressed.
