Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."
I'll Cover You (reprise)- RENT ...the one on the movie soundtrack makes me want to weep more than the one on the OBCR
Some things are meant to be- Little Women ...and...Marmee's second song in Little Women, I can't remember what its called but it makes me weep...because Maureen McGovern rocks.
EDIT: and looking at my avatar I remember that "Hey Kid, good morning" makes me weep too...
The guy playing Marius that night was the understudy or swing Edward Juvier (SP?), whom i'd met once before.
I love that guy. He was an understudy on Broadway; he regularly played Joly. On tour he played Babet and understudied Marius and I saw him as Marius before ever seeing him in the ensemble. :) I actually saw his second performance as Marius on tour and he was fantastic. He played Marius for a few months on thr tour when Stephen Patterson went on leave and I'm forever kicking myself for missing him then.

I'd Give My Life For You from Miss Saigon (I'm not sure if that's actually the song title) And three from Little Women (I cried a lot during the several times I saw that musical): Some Things Are Meant To Be Days Aplenty Fire Within Me
