Now I'm not talking about a little tear, I'm talking about open sobbing.
Me:
Mary Testa singing "I am Wearing a Hat" on the In Trousers cast recording.
Most versions of Move on (Bernadette and Mandy/ Carolee and Greg/ Bernadette solo).
Meadowlark (Patti on the original cast recording).
All the Wasted Time (Parade: Original Broadway Cast).
The Story Goes On (Liz Callaway on the OBC). I have no real connection to childbirth but her version of this song gets me everytime.
Loosing My Mind, FOLLIES
Not a Day Goes By, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG
What's the Use of Wondering, CAROUSEL
"For Good" from Wicked (Don't make fun. You know it's a touching song the first time you hear it.)
"Quiet, Please, There's a Lady on Stage" from Boy from Oz
The "Transformation/End Duet" from BATB gave me chills the first time I heard that...
I'm thinking of osbcure songs...but I can't think of any at the moment...

This isn't a whole song, but...
towards the end of Goodbye Love (RENT- OBC) when Roger says, "You heard?" and Mimi weakly sings back, "Every word."
I can't express how disappointed I was when I heard Rosario speak the line on the new soundtrack.
In general I only go into full-blown bawling when I see things live
Sirens - Jane Eyre
Without You - Rent
It's hard to speak my heart - Parade
i'm a big crybaby, but here are some
Children Will Listen - Into the Woods
A Little Fall of Rain - Les Mis
actually a lot from Les Mis, when i'm feeling sentimental - some personal connections
I saw Wicked 2 weeks after I lost a good friend, so the line (in For Good) "it well may be, that we will never meet again, in this lifetime..." just does me in.
Goodbye Love - Rent
Somethings are Meant to Be - Little Women
just a few that came to mind
Ellen Greene singing "Somewhere That's Green." (Actually Ellen singing almost ANYTHING live, because she's SO invested in her performance.
"Dividing Day" from Light in the Piazza
"Love To Me" from LITP
"My Friend" from The Life
"I Will Never Leave You" from Side Show
I could probably come up with 1000 others . . . I also cry a lot. (Especially when I break my foot . . . LOLOLOLOL!!!)

Almost anything from PIAZZA.
Last time I saw it (Tuesday,) as soon as The Beauty Is stared, I was done for.

I, too, openly weep when I hear "For Good." It's a weepy sort of song and reminds me of my best friend, with whom I saw Wicked. The finale from Passion does it as well.
I'm not generally a really one to cry during shows, so the only song that ever really gets to me is Halloween from RENT.

Bring Him Home - Les Miz
Why - Tick Tick Boom
I'll Cover You (reprise) - RENT

The first show I ever saw a huge production of was Les Miz with my Grandmother when I was 10. Before it closed on Broadway I went with a close friend, because although I had seen it on tour a couple of times, I had never seen it on Broadway. I immediately got this flash of seeing it with my Grandma who is now gone and I openly wept throughout most of the show. The guy playing Marius that night was the understudy or swing Edward Juvier (SP?), whom i'd met once before. He was magnificent. It was a great catharsis. I'm so glad I got to see it, on Bway.

"The Impossible Dream"--I don't care for the show, but the song always gets me, no matter who sings it.
"Another National Anthem"--the desperation and fury written into it is just wrenching.
"Johanna"--no explanation needed.
And, sorry, but the various death songs from LES MIZ always get me giggling--the whole how-can-people-sing-with-bullet-wounds-in-their-chests thing. My mind always fills in with the "Forbidden Broadway" lyrics.
