We are headed to NYC for the first time and my husband wants to take me to Hamilton for my birthday! We are looking at seats 9-11 in either Orchestra row F or M, Front Mezzanine row A seats 10 - 12 or Orchestra Center row T. Which would you choose?

At the Richard Rodgers, absolutely Orchestra row F, seats 9-11. Those are fabulous.
The Front Mezz would be the next-best choice.

F or M depends on how close you like to be. I've sat in both, and I found F was just a little too close for my liking - overwhelming sometimes, and I wasn't getting the full effect of some of the staging. However the detail was unparalleled, we could see ever detail of the actors expressions. I told my partner after that I really liked the seats but I would not want to sit even one row closer.
Also sat in M, and really enjoyed it. A good seat, without the intimacy of the closer ones but a great overall picture. I understand the seat I sat in (M12) is now considered a premium seat... I would not consider it so. It was not the same experience as sitting in those prime orchestra seats. Well worth it at the 250 I paid, but not the 750+ they charge now.
Overall if they cost the same I would prefer F, but if you're spending the big $$$ I would see if there was possibly something one or two rows back. Row J was my favourite, just the perfect spot to take everything in yet feel close to the action.
Have not yet sat in mezz but I am hoping to soon. Supposed to be a fantastic view of the choreo/staging

I'm a front mezz kind of gal, so that would be my first choice.

Front row mezz. We sat Row A seats 20-22 and they were great.

I like Row M a lot. You're close enough to see clearly yet you'll get the full picture. Plus, Row M is in the "stadium seating" part of the orchestra, so you'll have a clear view over the head of the person in front of you. Not too much leg room though!
Row A mezzanine is also wonderful. Not too much leg room there either!
For my money Row T is a bit too far back, and the stadium seating levels off back there, and if you get a tall person in front of you it may impede your view.
You have great options! Enjoy the show!

I don’t see well so I like first 7 rows. F sounds like 6 and 7 rows from aisle which is okay. Don’t care for row T bc the ceiling slopes down and cuts off cross ramp on the stage that actors stand on in various scenes. There is a staircase on both the left and right side of the stage. Connecting these is the cross ramp. I’ve seen the show ultiple times from different spots. To me row L is one of the best bc it’s the first row going up the stadium like seating and you can see without heads in the way. Otherwise I like D E or F on the aisle in either the right or left orchestra sides. That prevents heads blocking the view. Also use bathroom before show bc the lines snake into the theater as women are left with choice of going and missing beginning of 2nd act or not going. Hope this helps

I sat in row F seat 9 on my 6th trip to Hamilton and it was a great seat. Just enough to see the staging HOWEVER, the front mezzanine DOES provide the views of the lighting used on the stage floor you that you can never get to see from the orchestra. I think seeing the rotating floor and appreciating the lighting that looks like cobblestone, waving water, slats of wood just adds to the show. Go see it twice! From the mezz and the orch! Problem solved!
