So what are the chances of this extending till mid July? I'd love to see it but won't have a chance until then.

I am most stoked for the visual aspect, (figures right?). I can't wait to see what beautiful lush scenery Yeargan comes up with, and Zuber's costumes will no doubt be wonderful as well. Not that Donald Holder is amazing at what he does, but I wish Christopher Akerlind was free to do this show. He finds the most amazing ways of lighting Yeargan's sets.

I'm not sure his "Younger than Springtime" will be as good as Jason Danieley's rendition.

I agree with RentBoy. Although Danieley is too old for the role in a full production, his performance in the concert at Carnegie Hall was amazing.

Interestingly enough, when I saw the Carnegie hall concert live I was not a fan of his Younger Than Spring Time. But, when I listened to the recording I thought he was excellent. His “You've Got to Be Carefully Taught” was riveting.

SOUTH PACIFIC is one of those CDs I don't have, always mean to but never do. I won't get to see the show, but I'm thinking I'm excited for the CD.
