Does anyone know if Lincoln Center is selling normal day-of student rush tickets for this show, like they did for Piazza? My studentix membership expired without me realizing, and I am now back on the waiting list.

I checked Talkin' Broadway and Telecharge for information, but found nothing.

Thanks for any help!

They are, I believe it was $20, 2 hours before, 1 per valid student I.D. The first time I tried they were sold out, but went back a few days later (still the first week of previews) and was lucky enough that they weren't sold out. But apparently it has been as of late, so good luck! I'd recommend trying on a lazy weeknight, I went on a Thursday, for better results. Good luck!

They have rush? The guy at the box office was a total asshole, and when I even uttered the word "rush" out of my mouth he said flatly, "No." and went on reading his paper.

It has always been two (2) hours before the show, at least with Awake and Sing! and Cymbeline. It's on a day-to-day basis; most weekends don't have them and don't even try at 5:30 on 8pm performances.

I love my StudenTix membership though!

How often does StudenTix take from their waitinglist? I think I have been waiting since late last year.

I'd say rarely. I've been waiting since freshman year and I'm about to graduate and still haven't gotten on. Unfortunate.

Damn. I used to be a Studentix member. But it expired. I wish I renewed.

Yeah, I also went to the box office and asked politely if they would be offering student tickets that night and the guy in the box office very rudely said "No. There won't be rush for a very long time."

The entire run is practically sold out as it is, with a cancellation line forming regularly almost every night, so I doubt that non-Studentix rush will be available at all.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
