Do you guys know of any way to go about getting cups from Broadway shows? I know it sounds silly, but my Wonderland cup that said "DRINK ME" on it just broke. As the show is now closed, I'm lost in terms of where to locate a new one. (If you didn't catch on, I really love the cup!)
I love my WSS cup. Used it for months after seeing the show.

Honestly, I just started getting them at the theater because I realized how wonderful some of them are!
My favorite was my Wonderland DRINK ME cup.
For the record, I request that my drinks do not have ice. I hate it when people slosh their ice around, and I would hate to be an offender!
I would venture to say that you can only get them in the theater. I just looked on Priscilla's website and they aren't selling the ones they use in the theater online.
Does a show's merch company provide those cups that the bars use? (I don't know the answer here.) If they do, Creative Goods Design and Supply was the WONDERLAND merch company, maybe someone there could help you?

If you're around for the Flea Market you usually can pick those up there for dirt-cheap.

Anakela- thanks! I appreciate the advice. I sent them a message. Here's hoping they have something in stock.
pli1018- I'll be on the lookout then too. I have a feeling there'll be lots of Wonderland swag.
The bar companies themselves supply the cups. Sandbar Concessions for Nederlander (minus Palace). Sweet Concessions for Roundabout, Jujamcyn, or New Amsterdam. And Theater Refreshments for Shubert Houses. Palace and Helen Hayes are independent companies. Broadway Flea Market always has a ton

first and foremost you should try one of the many theatre shops in the area. If that fails then you can try contacting the companies listed in a previous post.
The cups are not merchandise, they are from the concession company.
At Shubert houses you will be charged an extra $5 if you want your drink in a cup so you can bring it to your seat. So it will be $10 for a coke, $15 for a liquor drink, and I believe $13 for beer or wine

I can understand wanting a momento, but why do you have to bring the drink to your seat?
Also not all the shows, especially the ones in Shubert houses, are show related. Most just have the Shubert logo on them.

above should have said not all the cups have show logos. Please excuse the error

Thanks, TheaterBoy7777- I'll be sure to check that out!
And Spike- funny enough, when I got my drink (peach soda, which was delish, by the way) it was only 5 bucks with the cup. That was a pleasant surprise. I really do hate it when people bring their drinks back to the seats, which is why I requested that my drink not have ice in it. In fact, if I could, I would almost rather buy the cup without the drink in it!

hey Kirby, sorry, I was qouting the prices at the bars located in houses owned by the Shuberts. The other theatres have different concessions, thus some items are priced differently. Also, those prices are only for the souv cups that can go to the seats. Knock $5 off the price for a drink you must finish before you take your seat.

Bump. Couple years later... My soft drink at MATILDA last night was $10. Two years ago they were $7 at Newsies.... Considering the amount of people who also purchases drinks, I was suprised. $10 is a lot for what you get IMO.

My recent in-show purchases for drinks were even more ridiculously priced! A glass of wine at Matilda was $20. A mixed drink at Hedwig was $25 and neither of the cups were show-specific. They just had the Shubert and Nederlander logos on them. If you decide up purchase a drink at so show you know you're going to be ripped off, but what they're charging these days is practically robbery!
Reading what the OP said, I too love my Wonderland cup, which I got at the flea market two years ago along with a cup from Bonnie and Clyde, Anything Goes, and The Addams Family. I have cups from every show I've seen (plus Lion King and Mary Poppins, which my sister gave to me after she saw those). I've stopped buying the cups at Shubert houses because they are all the same.
I worked at a theatre camp this summer, and I would bring my coffee in a different show cup everyday, and all the campers would be excited to see which one I had. I like them because they are durable, and they fit under my Keurig, and can hold an entire can of soda. In my house, it either a show cup of a Mason jar you're drinking out of, and with shows cups, because I have so many, everyone knows who's drink belongs to who!
I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but Audience Rewards has 4 "Wonderland" cups for 500 points + $12 (and for several other shows, too)

did you know if you bring the cup back, if you see the show multiple times, they knock $2 or $3 off the price of the drink.
We bought a Shubert cup back when we attended regularly and never brought them back when we saw another show at a Shubert house.
Would loved to have gotten the Wonderland cup but I never saw it there when we attended the performance.
Don't have Wonderland, but I always keep all of my cups from shows - even the generic theatre ones.
I know that the Shubert Theatres give you a drink discount if you bring the cup back (I only discovered this on a day when I did a matinee-evening doubleheader at Shubert theatres) and it saved me $3 on my glass of wine.
So, if anyone would like any of these, I'd be happy to send them to you. I have quite a few show-specific cups from the last three seasons too, though my littles have taken some of the fun ones home with them (Mary Poppins, Wicked, Cinderella, Annie, Lion King, Aladdin, Matilda) because they like the characters on them. :)
I find these cups uber-cheap and they don't hold up if you use and wash them regularly. They begin to get micro cracks in them. Many of mine are already gone. If you treasure them, use them to hold pencils or something. They aren't long for this world if you use them a lot.
Also, a lot of people leave them in the theatre after the show, so many of mine I got just picking them up off the floor after a show.

Flea market!!! The last two years there has been a table of just literally show cups.

I one time brought a cup back and they wouldn't re-fill it due to "sanitary reasons". (don't remember what theatre unfortunately) Made me wonder if they would have made me purchase another cup even if I had purchased a drink before the show, and then wanted another at intermission. Seems like the whole thing is a greedy way to make money, especially since I don't think any theatres offer free plastic cups that you just need to finish before returning to your seat.
