Just found out that Spiderman was cancelled last second.

Wow. Must be serious if they had to cancel a performance last-minute.
I heard the stage manager caught Reeve Carney playing a game of bobble head with one of the male ensemble members and the show had to be cancelled because Reeve has locked himself in his dressing room closet and won't come out (pun intended).
If you don't have facts, then don't post rumors.

Just saw this on Twitter. I wonder what happened.
Where did you see this on Twitter? I tried searching for tweets and found nothing.

SPIDER-MAN WAS CANCELLED TONIGHT. Whatever happened to "the show must go on"? #ridiculoushttps://twitter.com/search?q=%23ridiculous&src=hash">#ridiculous #unprofessionalhttps://twitter.com/search?q=%23unprofessional&src=hash">#unprofessional #someonemustbedead

I hope no one was hurt.
Maybe people should find out the facts first before they start cracking jokes.
Don't they do stunt rehearsal right before the show? Something going wrong then would explain the late cancellation.
It's more likely than not a technical malfunction. You can't run a show like that if one of the automation systems goes down or something.
The automation system went down in rehearsals today. A computer malfunction. They are working to restore full automation for tomorrow's performances.
Thankfully no one was hurt!
Well on the bright side, at least the people who get didn't see the show tonight didn't have to see the show tonight.

Makes me want to sit on a dimly lit fire escape and croon a soporific ballad.
You should attach a few dozen really thick wires to you that make it obvious you're attached to them and jump around for a while after singing that song and then charge people $150 to watch you do that.

I've made less for even less sensible things!
Just to be clear, you're using "song" euphemistically, right?

Oh yea. U2 recently announced they're working on a new album and their old fans replied, "That's okay. We're all set. Thanks just the same."
Hey man, I'm a fan of U2.
Just remember, half the band had the good taste not to be involved with this show in any way.

Yea. They should just break up now. There's no way to come back from "No Songs on the Horizon" ("Fez"?) or the two "ethical" members of the band stabbing Julie Taymor in the back.
They're already not doing too hot this summer. Having to cancel a show won't help them in any way. I saw it once. Liked it and I'm glad I saw it, but I wouldn't pay to see it on Broadway again.
It seems odd to me that it isn't on any of the official SPIDER-MAN social media. Plus it's f*cked that my original post calling bullsh!t was deleted.
Someone needs to tweet back to Elizabeth Boone. I want to slap her. A show would not just cancel for the heck of it. I can understand the disappointment, but producers were anything but unprofessional to cancel the show if there was a safety concern.
^ Agreed. The hashtag "unprofessional" is uncalled for... unprofessional would be allowing the show to go on when there is a safety concern.
Beings back memories of the old Julie Taymor days.
