Trying to sort through recent experiences, but having trouble figuring out the best approach for Spongebob tickets for a Thursday in late February. Not a must-see (an add-on that week) but would be nice to get two decent (and cheap-ish) seats last minute...
Thanks!

Any recent (i.e. within the last few weeks) updates on where the TDF, lottery and/or rush tickets have been located?
I got rush for the Sunday evening performance this past weekend. We didn't get to the box office until about 1:30pm and were offered Row L rear mezzanine on the center aisle for $30. We didn't ask on the locations for the $50 or $75 seats. The view from there was good, but we were able to move down to about the sixth row center mezzanine at intermission, which obviously was a lot better.
I did the lottery last Thursday (first try, single ticket) and ended up in orchestra K2, which I thought was an absolutely perfect seat. FWIW, I haven't met anyone yet who has lost the lottery recently. It'll get busier once the summer tourists show up, but right now is a great time to win.
I won the lottery for tonight. Will report back about seats.

Same here! Won for tonight and purchased tix within 10 minutes of finding out, so I’m not sure what to expect. I usually purchase within the first three minutes and get very lucky with terrific ORCH seats (Wicked, Cats, et al.).
I will report back too :)

It will be interesting to see if the 12 Tony nominations triggers a lot of people who have been on the fence to finally bite the bullet and see it. A Gentleman's Guide finally took off once the Tony nominations were announced, although it was pretty clear by that time that it was going to win musical, which I do not assume is the case here.

I feel like everyone who entered the lottery won on Tuesday. The line at the box office before the show was massive. Pretty sure it didn't matter when you accepted the win, as the person at the window just asked my name, crossed it off the list, and handed me my ticket off a stack on the desk. I got something like row G in the right mezz, full view.
I rushed at about 1:30 last Thursday and went for an orchestra seat (only thought I'd see it once at that point...) and got C 105. Turns out it's a premium seat (actually the second row) and it was amazing being so close.
I was in row R of the orchestra tonight. There’s no logic to the order the tickets are handed out.
Spongebob is really easy to rush and their lotto isn't competitive. My friends & I have seen the show at least 20 times (pls no questions) thanks to rush. If there's an understudy we like who's on that day, we're usually able to grab tickets an hour-two hours before curtain.

Sorry, I respectfully disagree or, perhaps I’m just really lucky!
Purchased my lottery win tix literally 7 minutes after being notified and we were seated in MEZZ Row A, Sears 12-14! AMAZING seats!
Alas, it does sound like someone scored a really good RUSH deal, so if you can take the chance on RUSH and have the time, that’s the way to go.
We. LOVED. IT. Deserves every Tony nod! Fabulously executed, and this from a girl who has never seen a single SBSP episode. I just love theater. Superb.
