I'm very surprised no one has caught this yet:

On the official Spring Awakening myspace (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=123164305)

I noticed this on the calendar:

Great news from London.
Its just been given a full West End transfer from its premier home of the Lyric Hammersmith. The Novello theatre will be its West End home from this summer. The Novello has recently been home to the huge musical flops 'The Drowsy Chaperone' and Desperately Seeking Susan'. Its not always doom and gloom at the Novello though, it was home to very long runs of 'No Sex Please, We're British', 'Buddy-The Musical', and 'Footloose' amongst many others.
Nobody's sure how well 'Spring Awakening' will do in London in such a big house and in the current economic climate.

The cast actually looks age appropriate. That's fantastic. Excited to see photos and vid clips of the production.

I knew it would. I mean it had to do it sooner or later. I'm very proud of that show, and I'm so happy it's getting the audience it has always deserved.
