Wow! I was never interested in this musical at first, but this awesome music video changed my mind. I love the music. I only hope that it's not another Brooklyn, where the music is a whole lot better than the story and dialogue.

Posted: 10/13/06 at 11:30pmI liked this because you got to see a lot of the subtle facial expressions that were missed seeing it on stage for the Atlantic. I thought the performances in the show were wonderful and the voices were all really cool. I paticularly liked the guy with the slicked blonde hair - he was really strong onstage and in his few moments, he created a highly nuanced character. I just think that the whole thing would probably work better on video, ironically enough... the songs weren't really used to move the plot, and in a lot of cases, lyrics were lost because of the music being loud... i thought a lot of the story was unclear because of that. The choreography was AMAZING, and actually quite narrative. I would be HIGHLY surprised if this does NOT become a movie fairly soon.
