Alright so I just bought the cast recording of Spring Awakening and I love it. Im just not sure with whats happening to some of the characters.
Alright so:
Who dies and how?
...I know Moritz dies but how?
If characters are dead at the end...how do they all sing The Song of Purple Summer?
Is there much dialogue in the show?
Will the script be released to buy?
Thanks everyone! I appreciate it!

*SPOILERS*
Yes, moritz kills himself right after Dont Do Sadness
and no, Wendla is still alive durring Whispering its right after she's found out shes pregnant and its kind of... her coming to terms with that and deciding that its okay. There's a big scene between Whispering and Those You've Known, and its durring that time that she's taken to get the abortion
Mtay, check your PMs
Moritz kills himself right after the Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind combined song after talking with Ilse. The cast then sings Left Behind.
Wendla dies right after Whispering I believe. It happens at one point while Melchior is at the reformatory which is right after Whispering.
Question: What exactly is the significance of the dance done by the cast during Touch Me, and then again by Melchior during Mirror-Blue Night.

^I've actually wondered that too! wait, do they do the mirror blue night dance in touch me?? somehow I'd totally forgotten that if they did! haha. I knew there was choreography and everything but I'd forgotten it was that same dance.
and yeah, I honestly am not sure of the answer. (when jon does it its very hot though :P)
i just assumed it was an interpretive expression of the characters finding their sexualities and more specifically their bodies. it was kinda distracting sometimes cause it was a little sloppy choreography, but i took it as they had to find out for themselves about their bodies, so they were just exploring all over themseleves. Anyone else have any explanations or take it a different way?
Bandit, I thought the same thing.
I assumed it was a physical interpretation of the lyrics.
personally I didn't like the dancing. IT just didn't really work, it felt sloppy.
I wanted to appreciate it, but it all just looked kind of goofy. Maybe I was missing something, but it seemed silly. Like it was trying to be artsy fartsy.
it did seem silly. like i said, i tried to appreciate it and i tried to understand what they were trying to say, but it was a little silly. but don't get me wrong, i loved the show a lot, but that was just one of my critiques, but i guess until i have made it on broadway i shouldnt be dissing
Maybe a little off topic, but how big is Remy Zaken's role?
Remy doesn't have a very big role. Just a few solo lines and speaking parts. Her part is a little bigger than Phoebe Strole's though, I think.
