What time should I get there on a friday? What kind of seats are usually available, and do you have any say in the seats you get? Thanks!

I'll reply nicely before people bash you.
Spring Awakening will probably not be at TKTS- I'd try rush in the morning. I'd get there early- really early. Like when the box office opens.

Last week I heard it wasn't on and,the show has been selling well but judging from this weeks attendance records I don't know. Since its a Friday night it might not be on or, you won't get that great of seats.

I went 2/24 (Saturday) at around 6:30 pm and got a seat in the mezzanine stage right box.

I apologize everyone for my quick, and wrong, response. I'm a native NYer who's in college far, far away from the city. Last time I was there was Winter Break, and Spring Awakening was ANYWHERE but at the TKTS booth.

Actually Mamma Mia was on TKTS this past weekend too. Guess the winter slump hits every show. Well, except JB and Wicked.

Mamma Mia is on the board like 75% of the time.
The only 4 shows that are NEVER at TKTS are Jersey Boys, Wicked, Lion King, and Mary Poppins
Spring Awakening is there most of the time...if the Friday you're coming is a spring break weekend the chances are a bit less likely though.

I concur. Every time I walk by TKTS (at least three times a week) it's up there...and two of those days are always Saturdays and Sundays.
