Spring Awakening Tour???

After all the 'online fundraising' last year to get Spring Awakening on the Tony awards, I haven't seen Spring Awakening listed on any subscriptions for the 17-18 season- am I missing dates? Did the tour not come together?

I worked with Russell Harvard, who was in the show and told me it was still happening next year. But, I doubt it is happening honestly

I would love to see a tour happen, however I wouldn't count on it.

This is filed under the "Almost Definitely Not Happening" category, along with the previously-announced tours of On The Town and Honeymoon in Vegas.

Unless an actor also happens to be a producer of a show they are the least reliable source for whether some production is or isn't happening. Many an actor can tell you stories about shows that they keep being told are happening, or sign a contract for, or even start rehearsals for, that ultimately falls apart around them and never materializes.
