I saw it. Kind of made me cringe a little. Blake Bashoff looked great though. Where was Jonathan B. Wright?

Totally STUCK?!?

I agree that they shouldn't have done that song...or maybe just the ending because that is the best part....I would have rather them covered their mouths like they did at the Tony's, but then people who aren't familiar with the show would REALLY not know what was going on.
I'm not to sure if I like the new Isle, but I thought it was a great performance overall!

Ugg what a mess. I would sell my tickets to SA immediately if i saw that video. And I LOVE SA. Everything about it was terrible. But I was glad to see some of the new cast members and get to hear them.

I think it was much better than the Tony performance.

I wish they would not do "Totally F*cked" on television appearances because (a) they have to change the lyrics, or put their hands over their mouths or whatever, and it looks/sounds stupid, and (b) the "blah, blah, blah" part looks like a mess out of context and just exemplifies what the show's critics make fun of.

Certainly not their best performance, but their energy makes up for it. They all look like they're having a blast..or they're about to combust...cool either way though. re: Spring Awakening on Good Morning America Right NOW

Problem is, the two upbeat, showstopping numbers best for TV appearances are that and "Bitch of Living." Both are hard to make PC for TV. "Touch Me" has been done but I don't think it's good for TV. I love "Don't do Sadness" but also think that's not a great choice for TV.

I guess my choices for best song they could use is "I Believe." It sounds the prettiest while still being upbeat and highlighting the ensemble cast. Updated On: 3/20/08 at 02:42 PM

"Where was Jonathan B. Wright"?

I believe he is sick, he has been out for two days at the O'Neil.

Even if ABC had everyone in the studio audience agree to sign vouchers saying they were OK with hearing profanity in the song, and even if the GMA crew used their 7-second delay to bleep out every curse, I still don't think they'd be allowed to show that on TV during the morning show time slot. ABC can't knowingly plan a performance where a dozen words that have been censored are obviously curses--it's still considered too "vulgar" for a family show. That's probably why they changed the lyrics rather than covered their mouths, too.

My thoughts exactly.

They looked like they were having so much fun, very high energy!
I agree they should've done something other than changing the word, I think the hand over the mouth in the Tony's was a bit better than "Totally Stuck".
While they were performing that number whenever they looked at one another they had a smile and look that seemed like "Christ this is fun but ridiculous." I know that look, I had it my senior year during bogus cabaret shows to get kids to apply at my arts school.

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
