'Why must the show go on?
Why not announce the closing night of it?
The public seem to hate the very sight of it!'

Ouch if they're dark for the summer.

For those who have seen the OLC and Broadway--How do the casts compare? I was just listening to some audios on youtube and I was not too impressed.

'Novello - the new shaftesbury... the curse ended in 2007 for the shaftsbury and seems to have travelled to this theatre!'

Totally agree with the above.

I think it was a big own goal by the producers, to do the Hammersmith thing in the first place, should of just gone for a straight London opening, then just maybe it would of had a decent run.

I saw the show on Broadway and here - the cast in New York was very slightly stronger vocally, but the show is MUCH better acted here and their vocals are still incredible, particularly the boys.

I saw the replacement cast on Broadway with Hunter Parrish and the OLC and much preferred the B'way cast.
