"During initial on sale, you will be able to purchase the best available tickets at your selected price point and quantity. If you do not like the seats that are offered to you, you can release those seats and try again. At a later date and time, you will be able to use the venue map to select specific seats."
Is this a SeatGeek thing?
Ticketmaster allowed seat selection for his 2018 show. And SG allowed seat selection for Moulin and Hades.
I couldn't select from the seat map when I got my tickets in 2018. I put my price in, and I got what Ticketmaster chose for me.
I'm assuming it's simply to streamline the operation, and to keep traffic moving on the site, but, along with the 2-ticket limit, brokers should have a more difficult time than usual, as well.

As for the stage door. Bruce signed basically the entire time once he started. There was only a few single days when he didn't stop and it was never because of any fights.
I was there last weeks. Barriers down by garage and flip side pushed back. Security said fight broke out and little kid got hurt so he stopped. I was there. He came out of show and signed nothing.
At the outset of his show, I sat there for hours to get show poster signed. I was perched next to SD. I watched as he refused things handed to him, especially home made items. Alot of dealers.
"
If you were there and he came out and signed nothing you unfortunately were there on an anomaly of a night. I was there many nights over the run, including the last two. You are correct, A LOT of dealers, I saw the same one up there on a few of my visits to the stage door. Each time he had a stack of albums and Bruce signed for this particular dealer all but one time when I attempted for signatures. He signed for everyone, including the dealers, consistently over the run. I do recall the fight, but that never stopped him from signing. Towards the end adjustments were made and the barriers were pushed back a few feet and the right side of the stage door was corralled for ticket holders, but the other side was still for anyone who got there early enough.
I was able to get 7 items signed over the run. An album, a couple opening night playbills, a T-shirt, a homemade frame with ticket stubs, a canvas print, and a die cast car.

I hope it helps stop the brokers, but I am more worried about Seat Geek's website. Their website is going to get hammered with server requests as it never has been before. I have a feeling by 12:03 the site is going to crash because it can't handle the traffic.
I've seen it happen a few times before when popular music artists tried to ditch Ticketmaster and use an alternate method. Yes, Ticketmaster sucks with all their fees and their deals with brokers, but they do a good job at what they do. Their website usually holds up to the hammering at initial on sales for in demand shows.
I am not sure. I am assuming so since it is mandatory to be vaccinated to attend. It also states that you will be given an entrance time to stagger the crowds coming in.
One thing I hated about the show was the constant getting up. Since there was no intermission, it would be herds of people heading to the bar or bathroom during the show.

They'll be using a digital queue, so, hopefully, the site will hold.

Not implying you were lying, just correcting your blanket statement. We knew someone that was there each night. We watched live streams of the stage door and videos posted the next day on YouTube. He signed 99% of the time.
As for selfishness, y wife and I have been 40 year fans, and this was our chance to see him perform in an intimate venue and have chances to get autographs.
Anyone could have done it if you were willing to put in the time. I literally spent about 4 to 6 hours on a few nights trying to get something signed. I caught him going in and out. He walked right by me a few of those nights and didn't sign for me but signed for the person before or after me in line.
As I said, it was random, and he did not shy away from dealers and pro autograph hounds, he signed for them as well as the fans. You mentioned personal items. The personal items were actually the ones that caught his attention and he would be MORE inclined to sign. Like people's personal photos with him from over the years. The first signature I got was a poster sized 18x24 framed collection with some of my ticket stubs from over the years. He exited his vehicle and saw me holding it and immediately came directly over to me and asked me about it before he signed it for me.

Yes, I can never understand how, barring medical conditions, a grown adult can't hold it for 2 to 3 hours until a show is over. On the whole though, I thought the audience was very respectful, quiet and still at the couple shows I saw.
BroadwayNYC2 said: "They literally just pointed out how you’re night was an anomaly. Cool it."
My nights were not anomalies. He also said "Bruce ALWAYS signed," which wasn't true. He created the hateful missive. He was untruthful that there "was never a fight." Gee, guess cops & his personal security were fake too.
What is likely untruthful is his claims on when all his graphed stuff occurred.

Here comes the BS. Check yr posts. Your hateful posts swell with blanket statements and words. "Always," "99% of the time," "no fight," "correcting," etc. "The personal items were actually the ones that caught his attention and he would be MORE inclined to sign. "
You even know his standards for choosing what to or not to sign. Great you have the time to watch video all day and night. "Correcting" means something wasn't true. I stand by what I witnessed.
"We knew someone that was there each night."
So what dealer was that?
"Anyone could have done it if you were willing to put in the time."
I got there at 11 am and waited 8 hours to have the B'way show poster signed. Once he did, I never sought anything else because I believed others deserved a chance. Frequently in the area, I often went by...not to hog up the line for another 'graph, but to stand in the back and chat with fellow fans. I observed it in person.
So you finally admitted he didn't sign for everyone, which is what I saw. Or the barrier set up on the flip side of the parking garage exit to keep folks at bay.
I saw his show multiple times and will do the same again. I've flown to other states to see his shows. Have you?
Pal, save your hatred and lying accusations for someone else.

I love it when 2 parasites argue over which of them is the "bigger" parasite!

Based on the above information, it's seems possible that purchasing "the best available ticket at your selected price point and quantity" could be referring to selecting your specific 1-2 seats in the section and row and price that you prefer, and then either buying or throwing them back and trying again.

I never once said he signed for EVERYONE. On one of my replies to you I even said he signed for the person on either side of me but didn't sign for me I said he signed every night (Okay, maybe there was 1, maybe 2 nights out of 200 or so performances he didn't stop on the way out and by law of the land that's not every night but it is 99.99% of the nights and he did sign on his way in. ) Also no, the barriers were not down at the end of the run. As I said, I was there many times including the last 2 nights. So were other fans that I knew almost every night.. He signed every day or night up to and including closing night.
Again, the barriers were moved back and towards the end of the run, one side was left reserved for ticket holders and the other side was for anyone that showed up early enough to get a spot
And I don't know any dealers.
Who I know is the community of hardcore Springsteen fan,s and they were there every night posting videos, often streaming the stage door entrance and exit live. Apparently you are very hurt that he didn't sign your poster and I'm sorry he didn't. .

I've seen him over 200 times since the 80's in places as large as stadiums to places as small as a corner bar. I hope the ticket gods shine down on you for this run.
I will only be going if I can score cheaper tickets. We are going to Italy and Spain to see him on tour next year and are saving our money for that.
JayElle said: "BroadwayNYC2 said: "What is likely untruthful is his claims on when all his graphed stuff occurred.
Blast him; not me. I'll take on any BS artist."
I'm guessing we imagined him signing my wife's shirt too! This definitely did not occur at the stage door on the ticket holders side the night before closing night
