After hearing Alan Cumming's solo album/cast recording, I want to hear a recording of the revised, one-man version of Fame Becomes Me currently touring as An Evening with Martin Short- half original songs from his autobiographical self-parody, half songs from shows he's done and shows he always wanted to. The guy has Tony-winning talent, so it's sort of a shame he's a C-lister on stage and screen.

For the person who wished for a Kerry Butler solo CD: She has one. It's called "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust," and it's available on Amazon.
Hugh Jackman began a solo CD in 2004 produced by Richard Marx. Unfortunately, he dropped the project after recording a few tracks. I'd love to see him resurrect it.
For those wanting a Stephanie J. Block CD, you should know she did indeed release one: "This Place I Know." And it's fabulous.
I'd also like to see James Barbour (Is his "B'way in Concert" a solo album") do one. And much as I loved Steve Pasquale's jazz album, I wish he would do a CD of theater songs that allows his big Broadway voice to soar.
