Cheyenne Jackson and Sutton would be cool also.
Mary Testa was scheduled to do an album with Jerome Records when John [Loan] Jerome was arrested for embezzlement.
According to playbill, there were deals with Jeff Harnar (which was released on Jerome), Heather MacRae (released on LML), Steven Brinberg (LML), Karen Mason (Jerome), Phillip Officer (Jerome), Julie Wilson (DRG), Jessica Molaskey (PS Classics), Stephanie Pope (Jerome), Laurie Krauz (Jerome), Mary Testa, Anna Bergman (LML) and Marcus Simeone (Miranda).
In fact, Mary's was the only album that never found a home. Apparently, it was a rock album.
Mary Testa would be wonderful singing some Broadway showtunes, I'd love to hear her do Sondheim.

I went to a small completely unpublicized concert that Sara Ramirez gave at a small pub in Times Square last week. She was trying out songs for a potential upcoming album. It was one of the most outstanding musical evening I have ever attended in my life, and if she releases even half of the songs that she sang, it will be a huge critical success and fan favorite.
So I am just drooling waiting for the possibility of that album. Besides her--Cheyenne Jackson.

I know I'm gonna get slammed for this, but I want Zac Efron to release an album.
I'd buy it in a heart beat.

you won't be gettin' slammed by me- I agree! :)
although... no, I take that back. I ONLY agree IF he were to make an actual, good, legit album that's more acoustic and raw. None of that horrible, horrible synthesized Disney crap like Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale. If it were gonna be an album like that, I'd say no. But I really do love his voice, and I know he plays guitar too, so... yeah, if it was good music, I'd buy it in a heartbeat too :)
*braces self for slamming*

One of my favorite songs is the acoustic version of "Hands Down". Zac definitely needs to go the way of Ryan Houston or John McLaughlin. His voice doesn't need to be messed with.

HECK yes. I love that you know Jon McLaughlin hehe. That's EXACTLY the style I was shooting for Very unaltered and clear. It's the only way to go for him.

John Lloyd Young-if he does one, he needs to have Cara Mia, What A Wonderful World, and Can't Take My Eyes Off You(even though he sings it on the JB cast album) on it.

I agree with Nathan Lane and Foster!
Angela Lansbury so should have recorded one.
Karen Morrow still should
Well, this may be after the fact but DAVID BURNHAM does have the most gorgeous DEBUT CD and the song choices are superb, his vocal artistry (well if you have seen him perform, nothing needs to be said!...He is BRILLIANT!!!!)
This CD is selling out so fast and furiously....get a copy now and relive a duet from WICKED and a beautiful song "Love to Me" from "The Light in the Piazza".
Every song on this album is top notch...and oh yes, his duet on "The Prayer"...well until you hear David singing in Italian, you have not lived. This mans voice will live with you forever! One of the greatest artists of our time......
I am also hearing alot of hype for Stephanie Block...she should record an album...her voice is unreal. She and David sang a duet from WICKED at his launch concert and it was magnificent!
Mo
Sally Mayes but ONLY in the cocktail lounge music style of PETE 'N' KEELY.
She's NEVER sounded more delicious to me than on that cast recording.
She completely understands that genre and equally delivers as much as Eydie Gorme does.
A fifth Audra album, please!
