They hired a new actress to be Mom/Buddahdalirama last Wednesday, but I have no idea who she is or when she starts. They want her in ASAP, but I'm guessing earliest will be next week.
Anyone know what understudies have been one lately?

Briana has been on for Chrissy.... Allison is in and out still because of her hip. Steel has been on as Berger because of Will's ankle... haven't heard any word on him. That was on Tuesday. Not sure about the rest of the week.
Okay, thanks. I saw both Briana and Kaitlyn as Crissy and I loved Kaitlyn. She had some vocal strain but she is amazing.
I would love to see Steel, I've seen Will every time.
I'm gonna try to see it for the 10th time tomorrow.

Cool. Give us an update on who's on if you can? I'm gonna try to go again before the equality walk, but I don't know if I'll make it. Sadness.

Will's Ankle's Twitter Accout update said: "Jesus, another day off woulda killed you, man?"
...maybe they ought to tone down the jumping around the audience a bit, and focus on their performance on stage for a bit.

I said right away in April that they couldn't keep that stuff up. Not because it was so amazing, but because seriously, these are human bodies and they literally can't keep this stuff up. And the hens have come home to roost.
And so many cast, excuse me, tribe changes so early in the run.
Yep... I have been writing about it for a while, also.
I think they need to pull it back in just a bit, and focus.

I know, it's like they're trying really hard to compete for entertainment dollars that might otherwise be spent on a 3D movie at the multiplex. POP! "Hi! Here I AM! That guy in the wig from onstage! RIGHT HERE! Take THAT Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs!"
Well, I'm glad he's back, and hope he's healed. I think they need to cool it with the manic jumping around period, because that just can't be safe, or good for their bodies. I know that some of it is in the choreography, but the last time I saw the show, I noticed Will in particular jumping around on stage like a complete lunatic, and I remember thinking to myself that it looked like it hurt, the way he was continually hitting the (very hard) stage. I hope that after the recent series of injuries, they're a little bit more careful, because it's sad to see so many of these extremely talented people getting hurt.

It'd be good for them and it'd probably be really good for the show.

Allison tweeted that she's going out on medical leave after saturday night's performance. sad, but I hope it helps her.
: (
So wait is she like out for good or just for an extended period of time?

Is she going to be there for the equality rally?
Additionally, Sat was the ONLY show she was doing this week as well. What could she have done to herself, poor thing!
"Medical Leave" sounds like an extended absence to me.

Her twitter says until January; she requires a surgery.

yep Allison said "My last show of hair for 2009 is sat night"
so sad for her. she is such a bright light in so many dismal days.

I am so sad for her, but I hope she finally gets well. She was limping so badly at the benefit on Sept. 14. It's so sad.

Time for the "tribe" to have a "pow wow." Squaw Paulus and Big Chief Eustis need to get everybody together and go over the damn show line by line. Diane needs to say, "How Tribe! Me heap big sorry me direct you to toss your bodies around like so much tie dyed laundry in an industrial dryer for over two hours eight times per week, 12 moons per year. We are now going to reel it in and find ways to show exuberance and enthusiasm without heaving ourselves into the audience as if we are not breakable human beings. No more surgeries, no more medical moccasins, no more sprains."
Maybe the new radical revised HAIR could spend a lot more of its time onstage?
